In the midst of a rough pregnancy or being a sleep-deprived new mama, it's easy to forget the sweet moments. It's up to you! With newborn sessions, you have complimentary access to the HCP studio located in Cumming, GA. We can also do an in-home session if that would make you more comfortable! I have had clients do outdoor newborn sessions in the park that have turned out incredible. All that to say, it is up to you!
Where will our session take place?
Newborn sessions are $650 for 40 images. Sessions typically run anywhere from 1-2 hours and I make sure I am not in a rush. Mama has access to client dresses, and I bring a swaddle, Moses basket, and more.
How much are newborn sessions?
Odds are, your baby will fuss at some point during out session, but that is OKAY. I do not mind it at all, and as a mom of three, I get it! I suggest feeding baby 15-30 minutes before our session so they are as sleepy as possible!
What if my baby is fussy?
I understand, it is super vulnerable having a new baby you love so much and want to protect. I am extra cautious when working with newborns. If I have even the slightest sniffles, I will let you know. I also wash my hands repeatedly during the session and do not mind wearing a mask.
I'm super worried about anyone being around my baby, what should I do?
I recommend baby be anywhere from 2-4 weeks old! Before 2 weeks, mama might not be feeling good and after 4 weeks, baby is very alert and more difficult to swaddle.
How old should baby be for the session?
We will discuss your due date and plan on 2-3 weeks after that! As we all know, delivery can be really unpredictable so whenever you deliver, let me know and we will adjust! Newborn clients are my first priority with scheduling.
